Pension record
Starting in 2008, all people living in Finland aged between 18 and 67 will annually receive a pension record.
Your pension record will show you
- your earnings from employment contracts in the private sector
- your earnings from entrepreneurial activities
- periods of study leading to a degree or qualification and benefits for unpaid periods from which pension has accrued
- your accrued pension
- your retirement age for the old-age pension
The record does not yet show State, municipal or Church pension provision.
Check your pension provision
Check the accuracy of the information and correct deficient or erroneous information. Your pension record shows information up to the end of last year. The information for this year will be shown in next year’s pension record. When the time comes, your pension will be calculated according to the information in your pension record.
As a person insured with the Seafarer’s Pension Fund, your pension record will be sent to your home at the end of September. The authorised pension provider where the person was last insured sends the pension record. Therefore, a member of your family or your neighbour may receive their pension record at a different time of year than you.
You can also check your pension record on our Loki online service (only in Finnish and Swedish), where you can also estimate your future old-age pension. To perform the check, you need an online banking password or an electronic ID card. All Loki service functions are SSL encrypted and secure to use.
