A seafarer’s pension is paid once a calendar month on the last banking day of the month. If the last day of the month is a Saturday, the payment day is Friday.
Pension payment starts from the beginning of the month specified in the pension decision.

If you wish to change the bank branch or account to which your pension is paid, you must notify the Seafarer’s Pension Fund of the new information. You can notify us on our online service, by letter or by personally visiting customer service at the Seafarer’s Pension Fund. Because notification of change must be signed by the pension recipient, we are unable to accept bank account number changes by phone or by email.
