The pension card is sent with the pension decision to pension recipients whose main pension provider is the Seafarer’s Pension Fund and who receive the following pensions:

• old-age pension
• early old-age pension
• disability pension
• unemployment pension

People receiving cash rehabilitation benefit, partial disability pension, part-time pension or survivors’ pension are not entitled to a pension card.

What discounts can I get with a pension card?

The card entitles you to discounts from companies such as Air-Botnia, Finnair, Matkahuolto, VR and Viking Line. The card may entitle you to other discounts; try asking directly at ticket offices for shows and performances.
