Criteria for being awarded rehabilitation
The criteria for receiving rehabilitation within the earnings-related pension scheme are
- you are below the age of 63
- you have an appropriately diagnosed sickness, impairment or disability that is likely to lead to incapacity to work in the manner specified in the Seafarer’s Pension Act
- you have earned no less than 3
- 31,492,15 euros (2011 level) over the past five years
- the threat of disability can be deferred or prevented through appropriate vocational rehabilitation
- you are not entitled to rehabilitation in line with the Employment Accident Act or the Motor Liability Insurance Act
