Rehabilitation allowance

A rehabilitation allowance is paid for the period of the rehabilitation programme. The sum is equivalent to the disability pension plus an increment of 33%. Essential study and travel expenses arising from rehabilitation are also reimbursed.

Rehabilitation increment paid to the recipient of cash rehabilitation benefit

Disability pension is awarded as a fixed-term cash rehabilitation benefit when the applicant’s capacity to work is expected to improve in the future. Cash rehabilitation benefit is the same sum as a full disability pension. A recipient of cash rehabilitation benefit receives a 33% rehabilitation increment for the period of the rehabilitation programme.
