Take good care of yourself

​Good physical condition improves wellbeing at work. It also helps you keep your mind clear.

Here are some ways to take good care of yourself:

  • Eat healthily and keep your weight in check.
  • Exercise in a variety of ways, both aboard the ship and ashore.
  • Avoid smoking and excessive use of alcohol.
  • Try to get enough sleep.
  • If you encounter difficulties or crises in your work or private life, talk about it. Get help if you feel like you need it.
