General Booking Conditions
Seafarers' Pension Fund has the following conditions when ordering, reserving and canceling the services provided. These terms and conditions become binding on both parties once the customer has made the advance payment mentioned in these terms and conditions.
Booking and payment
The reservation is confirmed when the customer has paid the advance payment and delivery fee mentioned in the invoice by the due date. If the booking is made later than five (5) weeks before the start of the stay, no prepayment will be charged separately. The final payment will take place no later than four (4) weeks before the start of the stay. A delivery fee of € 13 will be charged in connection with the prepayment.
In connection with the invoice, driving instructions will be sent to the customer at the place of handing over the key and the accommodation. Instructions for using the cottage are also included.
If the final payment has not been made by the due date, the booking will be considered canceled.
Cancellations
Cancellations must always be made in writing to the Seafarers' Pension Fund. If the customer cancels his reservation:
- 31 days before the start of the stay, the advance payment and the final payment will be refunded less office costs 13€ and cancellation costs 20€
- later than 31 days before the start of the stay, the full rent will be charged. The cancellation shall be deemed to have taken place at the moment when the information about the cancellation has reached the Seafarers' Pension Fund. If the customer shows that the cancellation has been made and sent to the correct address at the right time, the cancellation will be accepted, even if it is late or not received at all. The customer is entitled to a refund of the amount paid to the Seafarers' Pension Fund of 33€, excluding office and cancellation costs, if the cancellation is due to the fact that the customer himself or a person living with him or her suddenly falls ill, has a serious accident or dies. The event referred to above must be proved in a reliable manner (medical certificate). In the event that the Seafarers' Pension Fund leases the resort to another customer, the rent will be refunded to the extent that a rent is received from the new customer.
Right of the Seafarers' Pension Fund to cancel the reservation
In the event of force majeure, the Seafarers' Pension Fund may terminate the agreement, in which case the customer must be notified. The customer is then entitled to a refund of the services he has paid.
Handing over the keys
The keys to the holiday destination will be handed over to the customer at the place indicated in the instructions sent with the invoice or in the residents' instructions. Return the key to the same location, unless otherwise agreed.
Stay in a resort
The holiday cottage is available to the customer from the day of arrival at 6 pm to the day of departure at 12 noon. The rent of the holiday home includes bed and linen, basic tableware, heating and electricity, and firewood. Final cleaning is also included in the rent. The customer is obliged to compensate the Seafarers' Pension Fund for the damage caused to the object or its furniture.
Allowed number of persons
The holiday destination may not be used by more people (max. 8) than stated in the instructions. The use of a tent, caravan and motorhome on the resort site without the permission of the Seafarers' Pension Fund is prohibited.
Complaints
All complaints related to the reservation, equipment and condition of the resort will be addressed immediately to the Seafarers' Pension Fund. We do not accept complaints about the condition of the apartment, such as cleaning, made afterwards.
