The Seafarers’ Pension Fund provides employers insured under the Seafarers’ Pensions Act (MEL) with access to the Ankkuri online service, which enables them to conveniently submit notifications related to their MEL pension insurance.
Through the Ankkuri service, employers can report monthly vessel-specific details and generate reference payment forms for the payment of insurance contributions.
The employer and the Seafarers’ Pension Fund conclude an agreement on the use of the Ankkuri and TyHy extranet services. The Ankkuri service is available 24 hours a day. Technical support is provided during office hours, Monday to Friday. The service is free of charge for employers.
The Ankkuri online service is currently transitioning to Suomi.fi authentication. Until the end of May 2026, both the current login method and Suomi.fi authentication will be available in parallel. From June 2026 onwards, the service can only be accessed using Suomi.fi authentication, and its use requires Suomi.fi authorisations.
During the transition period, users may log in either with their existing credentials or via Suomi.fi authentication.
It is the responsibility of the shipping company to ensure that user details and Suomi.fi authorisations are kept up to date.
