Ankkuri is a free online service for employers insured under the Seafarers’ Pensions Act (MEL).
What can you do in Ankkuri?
In Ankkuri, you can
- submit monthly vessel-specific breakdowns of insurance contributions
- print payment details for insurance contributions
- use personnel and industry reports to support work ability management and decision-making.
Make use of your shipping company’s reports
The Reports feature brings together information about your shipping company and the maritime industry in an easy-to-view format. The reports allow you to monitor the structure and development of your workforce and compare your shipping company’s data with industry data.
The reports include information such as
- the number of insured employees
- average salaries and total payroll
- the age distribution of personnel
- retirement age
- reasons for disability pensions
- industry comparisons of salaries and workforce structure.
The information is based on the registers of the Seafarers’ Pension Fund and is updated once a day. The reports are available to users with HR and Management profiles.
Logging in and Suomi.fi mandates
When using Ankkuri on behalf of a shipping company, you need a Suomi.fi mandate corresponding to your duties.
Three mandates are used in Ankkuri:
- Submitting insurance contribution reports – for users responsible for reporting
- Viewing information on rehabilitation and disability pension decisions – for HR duties
- Processing information related to MEL work ability management – for HR and management duties.
The shipping company is responsible for ensuring that user details and Suomi.fi mandates are kept up to date. Remove any mandates that are no longer needed when a person’s duties or employment relationship changes.
