The Seafarers’ Pension Fund offers employers who are insured under MEL insurance access to its Ankkuri online service, which enables them to conveniently make notifications concerning their MEL pension insurance policies.
Through the Ankkuri service, employers can report their monthly vessel-specific itemisations and print out the bank giro transfer forms for the payment of their insurance contributions.
The Ankkuri service can be accessed 24 hours/day. Technical support is available during office hours from Monday to Friday.
The Ankkuri service is free of charge for employers. The employer and the Seafarers’ Pension Fund simply draw up an agreement on the use of the Ankkuri and TyHy (well-being at work) extranet services and specify the shipping company’s users and their roles. There are three types of roles: notifier, management and HR. At the same time, the shipping company will decide on access rights to the TyHy extranet service. The users will receive instructions by email from the Seafarers’ Pension Fund and, after that, an invitation to the Seafarers’ Pension Fund environment. Users can log in to the services using their work email address and password.
