We aim to guarantee the accessibility of our website in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019) and the EU Web Accessibility Directive (EU 2016/2102). The goal of accessibility is to enable everyone, regardless of possible activity limitations, to access digital services and understand their contents. The services here refer to websites and mobile applications.
This accessibility statement concerns the website of the Seafarers’ Pension Fund at www.seafarerspensionfund.fi.
Compatibility with requirements
Our website largely meets the A and AA requirements of the accessibility criteria specified in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The website design and development aim at providing the best possible level of accessibility for all users.
The methods for achieving this include the following:

- Ensuring accessibility is an integral part of the design and technical implementation of the services.
- The accessibility of our website is reviewed on a continual basis.
This accessibility statement was drafted on 25 January 2021. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services, which requires that public online services must be accessible.
The accessibility of the service has been assessed by an external expert organisation.
Non-accessible content
The “Well-being and rehabilitation” section of our website includes documents (PDF) produced and published by third parties, which are not fully accessible. Published before 23 September 2018, the documents do not fall within the scope of the accessibility legislation.
