Maritime Labour Convention MLC 2006
Maritime Labour Convention of the International Labour Organization (ILO) came into force in 2006. It determines the minimum requirements of maritime labour: employment conditions, accommodation, recreational facilities, food and catering, health protection, and social security protection.

STCW Convention
The regulations of the International Convention on Standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping, STCW, are included in the Finnish legislation.
