The earnings-related pension record includes information on all your income that has accrued pension so far.
The earnings-related pension record is sent to everyone whose most recent employment has been insured with the Seafarer’s Pension Fund. According to the law, the paper record must show pensionable earnings for the six years preceding the year the record is issued. Therefore, older private sector employment data has been omitted, as it is not required to be shown, but it has been included in the calculation of the estimated total pension amount.
The electronic pension record includes your entire work history insured in Finland. You can find the up-to-date pension record in the Seafarer’s Pension Fund’s Loki service (in finnish and swedish). The electronic record also includes earnings information from the current year, if it has already been registered.
Check the following on your record:
- your retirement age
- information about your accrued pension
- an estimate of your future pension amount
- details of your employment and unpaid periods.
If you are already retired, you will not receive a pension record. The same information is included in the pension calculation provided with your pension decision.
Information on work abroad is not included in the pension record. Details of any pension earned abroad can be requested directly from the pension authority of the relevant country.
The Seafarer’s Pension Fund will send out the next pension records during the spring of 2025.
