The earnings-related pension index rates for 2024 have been confirmed

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has confirmed the earnings-related pension index rates for 2024. The earnings-related pension index will increase by approximately 5.7 per cent in comparison to 2023. The new pension index is 3037. All currently paid earnings-related pensions are adjusted according to this index.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has confirmed the earnings-related pension index rates for 2024.

The earnings-related pension index will increase by approximately 5.7 per cent in comparison to 2023. The new pension index is 3037. All currently paid or latest 1.12.2023 starting earnings-related pensions are adjusted according to this index. 

The wage coefficient was confirmed as 1.637, which represents an increase of about 5.1 per cent from 2023. The wage coefficient is applied to the calculation of projected earnings-related pensions. It is used to adjust the annual earnings to correspond to the level of the year when the pension begins to be drawn.
