Anu Imppola has been appointed as Director (COO) at the Seafarer's Pension Fund, effective August 12, 2024. She will join the management team of the Seafarer's Pension Fund and serve as the head of the administration and finance team.

Anu brings extensive knowledge of the pension sector, with several decades of experience. She joins the Seafarer's Pension Fund from Orion, where she has served as the CEO of the Orion Pension Fund and as the secretary of the Orion Research Foundation sr. Prior to her time at Orion, Anu worked at Porasto, where she was the responsible actuary for four pension institutions.

Since 2007, Anu has been a member of ESY's Information and Education Committee and the Calculation Working Group. Since 2023, she has been a member of ETK's Representative Assembly as a representative of the pension foundations.
