Housing company Bostads Ab Skonerten, located on Doppingvägen in Mariehamn, has sold the property destroyed in July 2024 along with the associated land plot on December 2, 2024, to the Åland-based construction company Allbygg Ab.

– We are very pleased that our property in Mariehamn, which was destroyed in the fire, has been sold to a local construction company that will initiate a renovation project for the property, says CIO Sauli Hämäläinen.

Bostads Ab Skonerten is a housing company 100% owned by the Seafarers’ Pension Fund.
