MEL-pension contributions 2023
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health has confirmed the earnings-related pension index rates for 2023. The earnings-related pension index will increase by approximately 6.8 per cent in comparison to 2022. The new pension index is 2874. All currently paid earnings-related pensions are adjusted according to this index.
The Seafarers' Pension Funds' pensions advice and processing of applications is on vacation between 18th and 29th of July 2022.
Corporate Responsibility Report is published
The theme of responsibility is applicable to all activities of the Seafarers’ Pension Fund. It refers to responsibility for people who, in our case, include seafarers and pension recipients as well as the personnel and tenants of the Fund. It also refers to responsibility for the environment and society.
The Annual Report 2021 is published. Our operating environment remained challenging along with the continued impact of the coronavirud (COVID-19) pandemic on both our customers and our own activities. Our overall return on investments was historically high at 16.2 %. The best return on investments was gained from equity investments. The solvency ratio was 194.4 %. We are confident about the future.
